The shell has been redesigned to lower the visor mounting, giving a smoother and rounder top. This means impacts glide off the helmet more easily instead of being transferred directly into the structure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe GP-VAS visor system is designed to combine a lower pivot point with full opening without touching the shell. The construction improves the helmet's ability to absorb energy in accordance with FIA's test requirements. The highest point of the visor has also been lowered by 17 mm compared to the previous model, giving a larger smooth surface above it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe field of vision has been adjusted by lowering the bottom edge of the opening. This gives a better overview of instruments and controls, with about 8 mm of extra downward field of vision without affecting the level of protection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe visor has a centred lock that locks clearly and can be operated from both sides. The design is easy to use even with gloves on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside, the helmet has a removable liner that improves airflow and makes cleaning easier. The fit can be adjusted by removing layers of foam, up to two sizes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cheek pads have been redesigned to simplify microphone installation. An opening in the material makes cable routing smooth and discreet. It's also possible to adjust the field of vision further by removing parts of the comfort foam.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ventilation has been updated with the air intake moved 15 mm forward compared to the previous design. This gives better airflow without affecting the helmet's protective properties.
